Summer Vacation is HERE!

I finished my last day of work today in 90 degree heat, moving furniture and getting things filed and packed up. I'm exhausted and very sore from being on my feet all day. I actually came home from work and napped after dinner. I have one more poem from Ben. He wrote it a few days ago before he left for WV. Here it is:

I Love You

The more I think about you
the more I think of what you do
It may be driving us to places
or planting kisses on our shining faces
It is very nice to know we are
the center of your attention by far
You always love us no matter what we do
Even if we mess up and make you mad too
You never yell or raise your voice
Even though that would be your first choice
It may seem hard to love and share
But even then you show us you care
We may get you mad it is not the first time
It may even seem like you are sucking on a lime
Your day gets sour we make it bad
Then you do not cry and get very sad
You do not ground us it is a glorious day
You put us to bed and after all that say,
I LOVE YOU.
