This was a fun card to make Jody, thanks for the challenge. I loved this ribbon the first time I saw it and knew just what I'd do with it for this challenge.
The house mouse and watermelon were colored with markers. The clouds were sponged with pacific point. The watermelon is missing part of the piece by using the scallop punch. The clouds are scallop punches cut in half and mounted on dimensionals.

Boy this was quite a challenge for me late tonight! I am trying to get back to doing challenges after painting with my kids for two days! I found cranberry crisp paper and ink to use so that's what I used for this challenge. The flowers were stamped on a baby wipe with cranberry and caramel inks. Then they were punches out and mounted on cranberry paper. I added white dots to match the dots used on the other stamps. I used caramel ribbon and some dimensionals and it all came together!

This is for Laurie's Vellum challenge. I used shiny cardstock and used bashful blue and pacific point for the background colors. The butterfly was stamped on vellum and colored from behind. I then put versamark on the front of the butterfly and added clear embossing powder. I also put the butterfly through the crimper before adding versamark and ep. I wanted the pink to show up a bit more so I used the ep. The butterfly is mounted with dimensionals. The flower is one of those pretty mums made with the 5-petal punch. I used pink pirouette and pacific point. I sponged pixie pink and white onto the petals. Versamark was used and then iridescent ice. I added a brad to attach the flower to the card front.

This is for Christine's challenge to watercolor. I love to watercolor but have a ways to go with shading etc. The background was stamped with the sunflower from flourishes. The image was colored with watercolor crayons and an aqua painter.

This was soooooooooooooooooooooo hard for me Julie. I don't do simple easily....I know that's why this is called a challenge. You don't know how much I wanted to add a background stamp or something! But here it is in its simplicity. Hope you like it. I might add a background to it after I post it! LOL Just kidding Julie!

This card is for Michelle's challenge to make a masculine card. This is one of the paint cards that my DD got to try to decide which color of orange she wanted for her Detroit Tiger's room. This is one batch of colors she didn't choose. So being the environmentally conscious mom I am, I used it as a bg for my truck. I sanded the paint names off the card then stamped in cocoa using weathered. The truck was colored with wwc and an aqua painter. The sky is copic marker. The ground is wwc. I like how this turned out. I think I may send it to my DH who has had a tough week at work, and it's only Wed. It's a good reminder. :-)

This is for color challenge 176 and Sketch Challenge 186. I love using the soft swirls of priceless and just recently got kind thoughts, so I thought I'd try putting them together for these challenges. Soft sky was stamped on river rock base. Vanilla ink stamped on soft sky then embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder. Soft sky stamped on vanilla. Boho blossoms punch was used for the flowers and a black brad was added. I used the scallop punch to make ric rac. The butterfly was stamped with vanilla craft ink, embossed with iridescent ice ep, cut out then mounted with a dimensional.

This is for Lauren's challenge to use a monochromatic color scheme for a card. I was with a friend today who shared her Magnolia stamps and Copics with me. Then she went home and I had to color with my SU markers. What a difference! :-(I used Bella Rose paper and riding hood red. I used my dauber and pink pirouette to make pink dots to match the dots on the design paper. Then I added flowers in red. Isn't she cute?

I was playing around with different inks to use for Copic coloring and even when I heat set my ink, it ran. I'm going to have to invest in another kind of ink for coloring with these fun markers. The image was colored with copic markers and I stamped clouds from stampscapes and plants in the water too. The girl is cut out and mounted on dimensionals. Cutie pie paper was used for the background.

This is for Jenn's black and white challenge today. I have to tell you Jenn that when I first started it got the white stamped on the black then just sat and looked at your picture, then my paper, and back and forth. Then it hit me to use this stamp set. I stamped each color and cut right down the middle. I mounted the colors on the opposite color then onto the black paper. I added celery ribbon in the corner as well as eyelets and a little clear bead with stickles under it.

Whew! I've had a fun day stamping. Thanks to all the ladies at SCS who continue to challenge me with the daily challenges and now the Dirty Girl Challenges. Love it ladies, keep it coming!
Bless you for visiting today.
