Wallpaper Removal-What a Pain Stamping Keeps Me Sane!

So today my DD and I were given the task of removing the wallpaper from DS's walls. His room, thankfully only had wallpaper from the middle of the wall to the bottom. The problem however was that there was a border put on top of the wallpaper used on the bottom part of the wall. So we had two layers of wallpaper to go through for part of the wall all around the room! Ugh! I told DD that if she was ever doing a room in her own house to keep in mind these kinds of things if she ever planned to re-do rooms more than once. We did two walls and took a break before doing the last wall. It was a good thing we did because it gave us more energy to finish the last full wall. The first wall we did yesterday was the broken up wall that had the closet on it, so it didn't take as long to do.
DD is such a hard worker. This was hard work even though we used a spray wallpaper remover. She pulled her weight and stayed with it until the end. I am so proud of her. This is the first big project that the kids are able to help with.
Knowing that I'd spend the day wallpaper removing, I spent Friday stamping more samples for my workshop next Friday.
This is fast becoming one of my favorite new stamps. I love playing with the different Bella Rose papers. This cute bunny was colored with ink pad ink from lids and an aqua painter. The Bella Rose papers were also used. The image and words are attached on the left side. To keep the card closed I added white ribbon.

Here is some of my NEW stuff: Serene Spring was colored with wwc and ink and a blender pen. The background was sponged with caramel ink. The white dots were made with itty bitty backgrounds and versa mark and white embossing powder. I used Always and stamped the heart in riding hood red then added the saying. I just love, love, love this Bella Rose designer paper!

This is for color challenge 175 using wild wasabi, almost amethyst and so saffron. I used the Enjoy Every Moment stamp set. I did rock-n-roll technique on a flower to the left then had fun stamping the the three colors. I wanted to use some punches so ladies could see how multiple punches can be used on a card.

Well, it's time to go pick up DS from his day-long trip with his youth group.
Thanks for visiting today.
Great news! My mil will be coming home tomorrow! Praise God for his wondrous Mercy and love.
