It's a Faux Day!

Interesting title isn't it? Faux means fake, not real. Can you have a not real day? A fake day sounds pretty weird doesn't it? Anyway, this was my LAST day to stamp during the day for the challenges. Yes, Hope continues to remind me how many days left until I start back to teaching. It's all in good fun too I might add.
Today on Splitcoast there was a great challenge called Faux Dry Embossing. It was a fun challenge. I enjoyed it so much that I did three cards for the challenge. I actually wasn't sure if I did it correctly so I did it two more times after the first.
This is for TLC183 Faux dry embossing. I stamped in white used the heat tool and the stamp a ma jig and stamped caribbean using Pocket Silhouettes. I scalloped the edges and put black behind it.

This is for TLC183 Faux Dry Embossing. I stamped in white then tangerine tango on tt cardstock. I used perfect layers to add the black then mounted it on Washington Apple paper. I took white taffeta ribbon and ran it across the riding hood red ink pad and colored the ribbon and dried it. The image and words are mounted on dimensionals.

I used silver paper and versa mark with silver embossing powder. I stamped using Pocket Silhouettes into the hot ep and made these squares. I trimmed them using the square scallop punch. I used summer picnic paper for the background paper.

I am ready to start back to work. I have been blessed again far beyond my wildest dreams. A woman donated 791 stamps to our card ministry and 5 different alphabet sets and tons of other stamping stuff in 6 boxes! God is amazing. I have to go through the stuff to see what we can't use and then I'll have to find a place to store the stuff. She had everything labeled and organized in trays. It was overwhelming to say the least. It's a good thing I brought my kids to help me. We filled the back of our van with stuff.
Off to get ready for work tomorrow. Bye Summer, Hello School.
Blessings for stopping by.
