Fall and Christmas

This is a stamp I received from a donation to the church. I couldn't wait to use it when I saw it. This is the perfect time for it also. I used a blender pen and the ink from ink pad lids to color the image. I used images from Fall Foliage for the background. I also colored the ferns with a sakura sparkle gel pen.

This was for sketch challenge 193, last week. I watercolored the image with WWC and an aqua painter. I used lace background with plum ink to soften the look. The words were embossed in silver ep. I like the soft look of the watercoloring and the lace background as well.

We're beginning to have some cooler nights.......we need to close windows or we wake up shivering in the morning. I am looking forward to cool days at work. Without air conditioning, it's awful trying to teach when it's hot. It's so much easier to teach or learn when it's cooler.
Here's to cooler weather!
Thanks for visiting.
