My Upline is Amazing!

My upline brought this for me after doing a workshop for Fall. Isn't this a cute basket? She filled it with caramels.......yum! She is going to use these for Thanksgiving for place cards for seating. I can see a couple of slits in the top to hold a place card with a name. We'll see if that's possible to do without throwing the whole thing off balance. Cute idea and simple with strips of paper and a band to hold them together at the top.
Here is the link for where directions can be found.

Thanks Leslie.

My upline brought this card to show me one of her Christmas cards. She wanted a basic, easy card for beginners. The flower image was stamped using the baby wipe technique. Put reinkers on a folded baby wipe and stamp from there. Here the images were stamped once then a second time so it looks like pink as well as red flowers.

She also wanted to step-it up a bit for experienced stampers, so we worked on something together. This is the card we came up with. We used apricot and riding hood red for the reinkers on the baby wipe. I like how this came out. We used shiny card stock for the white, olive and riding hood red for the other colors. I like how it came together.

I am happy to be finally doing blog entering. I've been able to start these entries but fell asleep trying to type in them so I had to save them to post later. I'm hoping work begins to balace out and find a routine. I'm spending my days and nights working which is no fun!
Bless you for visiting.
