Busy and Productive Day

Today DH and I had lunch in a fun little sandwich shop in the college downtown area of Baldwin Wallace. Took me back to those days of carrying a backpack and reading hundreds of pages a night in undergrad. I went to BW for my Master's Degree and absolutely loved it! I went from a huge state college where you're literally a number, to a small private college where Profs. knew your name and could help with concerns you had due to work or kids and working on a master's degree. We had a nice, quiet lunch in this sandwich shop. People of all ages were in there. Young college kids to older seniors eating sandwiches and doing a crossword puzzle. Last night and today I've been busy making cards for Card Ministry and myself. I told myself if I got so many cards designed, then I'd get to make for fun cards! Even as a teacher I continue to motivate myself~ LOL Here are two cards I just finished. They are brand new from Sweet N Sassy Stamps called, Treasured.  This purple card will go to Sarah Annie my 15 yr. old.  Inside it says, You're Treasured!
The fun thing about this is that just last weekend I told her how much of a treasure she was to us.  Now I have it in writing.  Kids need to hear this more often than you think.
Here is one for my twin sister, Anne.  This says You're Treasured inside too.
Today in the mail I received 20 more cards for Summit Point!  Take a look.  OOps, the top photo has a watermark for my SU cards.  Sorry Bev.  These were all made by Bev and generously given to me so I can forward them to Summit Point.
What a blessings these will be to the residents of Summit Point, thanks Bev!

Here's a card I made for today's color challenge on SCS.  I just love doing these challenges so my skills will grow.  This image was colored with markers then huffed and stamped on white paper.  Then I made a second set of flowers and cut them out and put them on with dimensionals.  I added pearls to a few of them. I used the new SU Summer Smooches paper behind the image.  Love this stuff!
I'll leave you with a video.  My ladies Bible Study that I go to on Thursday has been talking about getting quiet time with God.  Take a listen to this song.  I hope it calms you to know God is with you always. Listen
to the words carefully.

Tonight we're hosting Bible Study so I have to get my stamping room cleaned up.  I will show you pictures of my Card Ministry Cards soon.
Thank you for stopping by today.
