She's Home and Now at Peace

At The Cross is a song I've just heard again in a movie that I watched called Reconciliation. Take a listen. God put this in my heart at just the right time.
Today Tim and I spent 6 hours at the hospital with mom, dad and family. Shortly after we left we heard she died.  One thing I rejoice about though is that while there this morning I asked Tim to come with me to her side so we could pray for her.  I held her hand and Tim's and prayed and cried.  Whether she heard or not doesn't matter.  I got a nudge from God to pray and I ignored it earlier in the morning.  I got another nudge and needed to do this.  A little while after that I got another nudge that I needed to pray with Dad.  So I asked him if I could pray for him right there.  He said, "Sure."  I felt great that I followed through with what I was supposed to do.  I've never done that with my in-laws before, you know shared my faith and prayers directly with them.  I thank God for giving me what I needed to do that.
It's amazing that all I did was sit all day at the hospital and I'm exhausted.  Emotional stress will do that to you I guess.
I did some therapy for myself early this morning when the challenge came out on SCS.  It's called the inspiration challenge.  I found a dress that I used for inspiration that had roses.  Here's my card. The colors cheer me up.
This picture made me giggle a little too.  See what it does for you.  I just love the look on his face. LOL
Father I pray that you will give this family peace.  That you will surround us with people to help ease the pain and allow us our memories to cherish our past with Mom.
