We Celebrated My Mil's 80'th Birthday Today

Looking at my in-laws today I was struck by the love they still have in spite of the hard times they've faced in their lives and with her health issues of late.  She was born in 1932 during the great depression. She has many things she does that a because of being born during this time.  It's amazing to me to hear stories about this time in history.  This is things from history books ya know?  My mil and fil both have stories they can tell about growing up in this time.

Today I saw this on FB and had to copy and paste it here because of what I posted yesterday. Babies are the most precious gifts from God and being a mother will be your honor for the rest of your life. Thank you Lord for allowing me to be a mother. Isn't this a beautiful thought?

I got a picture that I forgot to post last week.  It's a picture of Tim and Sarah on the way home from Amish country.  We hit the vending machines and both got and extra of what they wanted.  Sarah ordered pop and Tim got an extra m&m's candy!  I just wanted a picture and of course I was made fun of but I hadn't gotten any pics of us on our trip so I got this one.  Silly but so much fun!

Here's the card I made for today's Inspiration challenge on SCS.  Isn't this Popcorn Bear just so sweet?  I colored him with Copic markers and used my SU heart die cuts. Not sure what words will go on him but thought I'd wait until he was needed then I'd know what to add.
