More Cards Donated-Now I Know

Well, today we each found out where we will teach next year. We had to sign for our official notification letter. I will be at Parma Park again working with kids with disabilities. So that means I'll be moving again from upstairs to downstairs. I will be right across the hall from where I moved from last year!

Here are the cards that were donated by scootsv on Splitcoast Stampers for Summit Point.  It is a senior residence that a freind's mom lives in.
Our school has been doing a community project with Ronald McDonald House for a lot of years.  We collect pop tabs to give them which they can turn in to earn money for parents to go out to a movie while they are at the House.  We also collect money and things they need and bring all of it down to the Ronald McDonald House one evening in May along with dinner for the residents.  It's an amazing process and feeling when you see how much it is all appreciated.
This year we had a fundraiser with a company that had nature shirts and things.  The money raised from that will go to Ronald McDonald house.  The kids are selling candy and other items to add to the cash we will donate.  It's an amazing thing we do, if I do say so myself! LOL
Ronald McDonald visits and brings a huge ball that gets hit around the gym.  It's lots of fun.
Here are some cards I received today.  They are all so beautiful.
The first card is from Lydia aka understandblue on SCS.  Thanks Lydia.
This card is from my dear friend, Val.
This card is from Carolyn on SCS.  I wish I knew what stamp set she used here.
This last card was made by my assistant Patti.  Isn't it cute!

Here is a song a friend suggested I listen to which could help me through the grieving process.

Jenny Phillips-Blessed Be His Name
Maker of the earth and sky
Ruler of the heavens
He whom death could not contain
Blessed be His name

Bring to him your troubled heart
Lay your cares before him
He has suffered every pain
Blessed be His name

Perfect and unchanging
Sinless son of man
Author of our simple faith
Blessed be His name

Constant through our darkest time
Stronger than our weakness
Bearer of our grief and shame
Blessed be His name

Humbly bow before him
Praise Him for His grace
Ever will his love remain
Blessed be His name

Present and abiding
Usher in his reign
With us through the end of days
Blessed be His name
Author of our growing faith
Blessed be His name

Well, it's time to get some work done around here.  Thank you for stopping by.
Blessing from today: More cards arrived for Summit Point.

At least you didn't have to move to a new school. Those cards are all so cute. I'm sorry to hear about your MIL. I've got a lot of catching up to do. Sue, thank you for making the trip over to my new blog. Have a lovely day.
