Patti and I had fun making cards last night. We had to call Hope once to ask how to use the dies that Patti bought with her ornaments stamp set. We were told to use the stamp-a-ma-jig. We found two other ways to use the stamps and dies.
We cut out the shape and Patti inked up the stamps and turned them upside-down and set the paper ornament on top and pressed down.
The second way was once ornaments were stamped I used the die cuts to cut those shapes out on white cardstock. Next I took that piece with the hole and lined it up on the stamped image. Next we slid the die cut into the shaped area on top of the image and put it through the cuttlebug to cut it. Perfect every time! I tried to video this holding the camera in one hand and try to adjust the cut out over the stamped image. I hope you get the idea.
Annabelle's looking at her new toys trying to decide which one to pounce on. They have catnip in them.
Not too bad for a week at our place with Ben and Rachel in the room. The only time this is a delight to THIS mother is when they visit. LOL
Today I went to Jan's house and participated in a shoebox Christmas card swap. Here are the cards I got to make.
This is one of the cards I brought for the gals to make.
Tomorrow I will stamp with Jan M. after breakfast at a bagel place. Can't wait to stamp again!
Blessing of the Day: Stamping with Jan and Jane.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
