The Simple Woman’s Daybook
FOR TODAY December 29, 2013
Outside My Window...It is dark but the pretty Christmas lights are glowing. Seeing lights makes me feel so good.
I am thinking...that it's fun to hear Annabelle meow and play with her bunny with the bell inside.
I am thankful for...a date night with Tim. We went to Panera's then to a movie.
From the kitchen...all is quiet except for Annabelle hitting her bunny with the bell in it.
I am wearing...a sweater, jeans and my black boots.
I am creating...Birthday and miss you cards with some of Jane's stamps.
I am going...to get the Christmas stuff down this week. Not sure which day.
I am reading...nothing right now.
I am hoping...that Ben and Rachel are enjoying their time here in Cleveland.
I am hearing...the sound of the clock at my desk and Annabelle meowing and playing with her bunny with the bell.
Around the house...all is quiet as it usually is at night.
One of my favorite things...is watching shows or movies I like on Netflix. I don't have to be confined to watching at a certain time on a certain day.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:continuing to organize things around here and stamping cards for others.
Here are some pictures I thought were worth sharing...
This idea was on Facebook. I'm going to do it. Gotta go get my glass jar.
I colored flower with white craft ink and paint brush. I heated it then colored the flower with inks and heated it again. I added dimensionals to the back of the image. Images were stamped in black ink then colored with Copic markers. Rhinestones were added then glue pen was used to outline the flowers. Silver embossing powder with glitter was added. Embossing powder was heated then card was layered together.
Here is the crazy Craig gang at the Craig Family Christmas. I had left already and was told I'd be Photoshopped in.
This is a gift from Sarah. I just had to take a picture of the package.
Blessing of the Day: Date night with Tim and trying out a new church which is 5 minutes away.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
