This was another very cold day in Ohio. Kids were off from school and people were asked to stay home unless they had to go out. When I took Ben and Rachel to her parent's house, it was about 5 degrees. It took forever for the van to heat up. Even with gloves on and a steering wheel cover, my hands got very cold.
I had to really bundle up to get the mail. It was really windy and cold. Many people out in the cold had issues with frostbite.
This was a funny poem that was posted on FB that I just had to share.
I stamped in stazon black and colored flowers with a blender pen. Then I cut oval out and layered them with the indigo base. I stamped greeting on white and sponged with indigo and navy. I embossed all of the layers with the Anna Griffin Poppy embossing folder. Love how Victorian this folder looks.
Following Joan's tutorial found here:
I made my flower and added it to my card. I'll have to try again and see if I can get my flower more even. Thanks Joan for a great tutorial!
This is for a double challenge; Teapot challenge was to make a card which will be going to two ladies who are good friends and who are each helping the other battle cancer. I used the sketch challenge to make the card. I've made two of the same card and will send them out tomorrow.
Stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I embossed the background with an Anna Griffin Rose embossing folder. I added dimensionals to the image and the text panel.
Found this on FB and added it here because I needed a reminder today of who is in charge.
I'll leave you with a Chris Tomlin song called, Lord I Need You.
Blessing of the Day:Going to Bible Study with Chuck and Maryanne
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
