All The People Said Amen

I heard this song in the car yesterday and loved it.  I'm so proud of myself, I remembered the name of the artist AND the title!!!  That in itself is a feat since sometimes I try to recall something and it's just not there.

This is a gorgeous picture of Niagara Falls taken Monday as the winter storm rolled through.  The Falls froze.  It's an amazing sight to see.

 I saw this on FB this week and had to share it.

 This is a card I did for the color challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  This card was watercolored with ink from the lids of ink pads and my aqua painters.  I used the smaller tip for the flowers and the larger one for the background.

 This card was made for the Tuesday Teapotter's Challenge on SCS.  This will go to a woman who was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.  She loves flowers and the Lord.  I pray this will put a smile on her face.  She doesn't have long to live but I'm praying for God's comfort for her.

I had dinner at Panera's tonight with Jan M.  We went to high school together but didn't hang out together.  I reconnected with her when I found she was working as the secretary for the school my kids went to.  She has since moved on to another job, and it's nearby so we meet almost every month to stamp or eat, or stamp AND eat.  Thanks Jan, for a great time tonight.  It's always great therapy to have 'girl' time. :)

Tim went to dinner with Brianna and had a great time too.  I gave him the journal I started over 20 years ago.  I wrote entries from the time Tim and I were dating so it was about Brianna's life from 4 years old.  I'm not sure when I stopped, but thought she'd enjoy reading about her life and probably lots of things she didn't remember happened.

I did this for Ben and Sarah from the time I got the news, to first pictures from the doctor and on and on.  I think they liked them.  The might not appreciate them until they are parents themselves.
