We Have Internet-For Now!

Our internet has been horrible most of the time.  This is the first time I've been able to get online to blog.
We've been busy driving around to see places this week.
Monday we headed to The Grand Canyon.  What an amazing site!  My pictures in no way did it justice.  It is truly a sight to behold.  A God made place for sure.  Here are some photos.

There are tons of prairie dogs around here.  They run through the fields among the cows.  I got a picture of this little guy standing up near his hole.  See the dark dirt to his left?  That's his hole.

The Grand Canyon-This was an amazing place to be!   It was breathtaking to see all of the different colors and cuts in the rock.  We discussed that it wasn't possible to capture its true beauty.  This was the first time all of us but Brianna had been to the Grand Canyon.  What was interesting too was that most of the people around us were speaking different languages.  We visited in the evening late enough to get good sunny pictures but we also wanted to see sunset at the Canyon.

I took a bunch of pictures showing the sun disappear behind the trees and rocks.

Ben and Sarah were a lot of fun on this trip.  They mess around with each other and it keeps all of us laughing.  It's so much fun to see them tease each other.  I miss that now that Ben is in Texas.

This is all the kids: Ben and Rachel, Brianna and Sarah.  Brianna is Tim's daughter from his first marriage.  She is now 25.  She was 4 when we got married.  Such a long time ago........

Finally a picture of Tim and I.  I giggle each time I see a picture of us together.  I'm 5'2" and he's 5'10".  Tim planned all of this for us.  He's a master of detail.  We've always wanted to go out west and this was our chance.

Sunset at the Grand Canyon at about 7:15 p.m.  It was just gorgeous!
