Here is a beautiful picture of the Lake Erie sky line with the moon on it. Sometimes all it takes is a picture to remind me of how gorgeous God made this earth. He made it all for us. I know I take it all for granted most of the time. Sometimes however, I see pictures like this or nature in my own backyard and it reminds be of how Great God really is. It also reminds me of how little time I spend thanking Him for all he's given to me. Please tell me I'm not the only one........
This is the card I made for today's color challenge, which was to make a red, white and blue card. Dessert option was to use stars as well. I colored the flower using Stampin' Up's Bendabilities. The center of the flowers is blue-violet Copic markers.
This card was for the sketch layout for this week. I made the oval a big larger than the sketch, but I'm hoping they overlook it! LOL
This is the building block card that I made for Monday's challenge. When I first made it I wrote 2004 instead of 2014. Here is the corrected version for Sarah Annie.
Today was spent doing some errands with Sarah driving and trying to rest. I have a cold and for me the second day brings about the cough that rattles the brain causing headaches, and ears that ring and feel plugged up, and a general tired feeling. At least the sore throat is gone. I drank lots of green tea with honey in it. Did you know that honey will destroy the bacteria that causes a sore throat? I'm still learning even in retirement.
Tonight Sarah and I went night driving. She has to have 10 hours of night driving for her license. We celebrated with Dairy Queen sundaes for completing her driving course and written test in her class. Then we drove around and eventually drove around our old neighborhood. We stopped in front of the house and I told her where her room was and things about the house. She suggested we look online the last time it was sold to see what they had done to the place.
I told her little stories about her growing up years while we passed different places on the way home from the 'old house'. It was a fun time with her.
Blessing of the Day:Spending time with Sarah.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings to you and yours,
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.
