Good Golly Miss Molly

Yesterday my dear friend, Emily took me to Miss Molly's Tea Room as a thank you for helping her all year in her classroom two days a week.  I've never been to Miss Molly's so it was a real adventure.  This tea shop is in the middle of beautiful Medina Square which has lots of little shops to visit.
The inside is very Victorian and elaborate.  They leave Christmas trees up all year to add to the vintage feel.  I had a pot of orange, cranberry tea.  Emily had Peach.  Yum, they were both good.  What amazing flavor they had.  You were smelling the aroma and tasting it at the same time.  It was the best cup of tea I've had.  It was loose tea which might have been the difference.

You can of course purchase tea there in bags or loose.  I got some to try here at home.  I hope I can make it as well as they did!

Here is a card I made today for the Free 4 All challenge.  You were to stamp something you do when you are not stamping.  I stamped a butterfly to go with my woven ribbon background.  I love to sit on the back porch and watch butterflies, chipmunks, squirrels, birds, deer and humming birds visit our little animal sanctuary.  It is so peaceful most of the time to sit with a cup of coffee and thank God for the beauty He's surrounded me with.  I am truly blessed to be able to unwind in such a beautiful place.  Thank you God!
This is for the Inspiration Challenge.  Here was my inspiration. I chose the yellow and turquoise colors for my background ribbon.  Then added the butterfly and words.  These two cards will be sent to Operation Write Home.
I often ask my students to write about "why they write," and I've heard many of these answers again and again. They're true for me, too. --Laura Davis & The Writer's Journey www.lauradavis.net
Check out these pictures Sarah put together for Father's Day.  We got Tim a beautiful wooden frame for 6 pictures.  We wanted to include different things, so this was put together as one 4x6 photo.  Love the idea of baby and now pictures for each kid.

We've been truly blessed with our kids. So thankful that they get along so well as adults.

Here's a new song called, Let It Be Love, by Family Force 5.  I couldn't find a video with lyrics, so I've added them below.  See what you think.

                                                                 "Let It Be Love"

I've never seen a soul set free
Through an argument
I've never seen a hurt get healed
In a protest
But I've seen sinners turned to saints
Because of grace
It's love, love that lights the w
Love that lights the way

Let it be a heart wide open
Bigger than the words we've spoken
Let it be a heart for the broken
If we're gonna light, light
Light the way
Let it be love, let it be love, yeah
Nothin' but love, nothin' but love, yeah
Let it be love, let it be love, yeah
It's love that lights the way

It's not about the stand we take
But the grace we give
It's not about the name we make
But the life we live
Heard about a King who sat down
Took my place
True love gave His life away
It's love that lights the way

Let it be a heart wide open
Bigger than the words we've spoken
Let it be a heart for the broken
If we're gonna light, light
Light the way
Let it be love, let it be love, yeah
Nothin' but love, nothin' but love, yeah
Let it be love, let it be love, yeah
It's love that lights the way

Stronger than every fear
Comfort for all the tears
It's where the war is run
And it has overcome
Louder than the loudest shout
Deeper than the deepest doubt
We'll watch the walls fall down
We'll watch the walls fall down

Let it be a heart wide open
Bigger than the words we've spoken
Let it be a heart for the broken
If we're gonna light, light
Light the way
Let it be love, let it be love, yeah
Nothin' but love, nothin' but love, yeah
Let it be love, let it be love, yeah
It's love that lights the way

It's love that lights the way
Yeah, Love that lights the way

Blessing of the Day: Got Tim's presents wrapped with Sarah.
