Card, Cat, Chicken

Here's the card I made for today's sketch challenge on SCS.

Check this out....The Cleveland Indians have won 11 in a row!

Phoebe and I were outside on the screened in porch this morning.  She was watching birds on the gutter and jumped into the screen once.

Here Phoebe is resting from her early morning hunting.  She's watching the 'big screen'. LOL

Here's my first, ever, chicken pot pie.  The recipe is from my twin Annie. (Hi Annie)

This is the pie part way through dinner.  It ended up all gone. Looks like the family enjoyed it. :)

Why is it we so often associate faith with our feelings?  Faith has nothing to do with our feelings.  We choose to believe and believe because we said we'd believe, not because it's a good feeling, or we feel good.
Today I was reading that we need to recognize that if we are saved, we need to understand God is with us all the time.  He is by our side fighting for what is needed for you.  You can't do this on your own, but you can live with the knowledge that God would do anything for you.  In fact he did, He died for yours and my sins.
  When our road is uncertain, we call God to help us. We need the faith to do that.

Blessing of the Day:Quiet time early on the screened-in porch.  Today was a nice day to be outside. No air conditioner needed. House was opened up!

Please pray for Hanna who has an aggressive cancer. She is being treated but every time they do something for the cancer, something else happens to her body.
