Wednesday, February 15th, my mom had a stroke and was rushed to the hospital. She was taken to Metro General Hospital because of their trauma 1 stroke care.
What a nightmare it was. Three times we were asked what medications she was on. It was a very difficult thing to be a part of.
We've finally had her transferred to Parma Hospital today, which is 10 minutes from my house. She is in rehab here. We'll see how things go. Prayers are appreciated for her and us as well.
This is our 6 month old kitten, Chloe who is on the back porch for the first time in her life. She loved being outside. It was overwhelming at times with all the new sights and sounds.
Verse of the Day: Encouraging one another is what needs to happen for our family in the rehab of our Mom. We all must concentrate on Mom and her recovery. I know God is using Mom's stroke for good somehow.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)
I know this is quick, but I have to get to sleep so I can visit Mom early in the morning.
Thanks for stopping in.
Blessings,
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.

Your mom is in my prayers. So sorry to hear of her recent trail. Glad to hear she was moved from Metro and is in rehab.
How frustrating and scary when the staff don't seem to know what's going on, asking the same questions many times. Your mom is lucky to have you there to help keep things in order.
Of course you and your husband continue to be in my prayers as are all your lovely family.
Thank you for taking time to let us know about your mom.
God bless you all!
