Double Date

Not sure if it's called a double-date when you are invited to go to a ball game with your son and daughter-in-law. We went with Ben and Rachel to a Crusher's game in Avon Lake.  It was a really fun time.

First off, it was a higher scoring game than we've ever seen there. The score was 9-6, with the Crushers losing.

Secondly, Ben got tickets at the tables with umbrellas and we had a waitress to take our order throughout the game.

Thirdly, we didn't get chased out by a thunderstorm or rain.  This was a 2:00 p.m. game. We usually go to 7:00 p.m. games. Tonight at 8:00 p.m. it rained! LOL

Fourth, Tim got a baseball after it hit him in the head! He's okay but was surprised. I have to say, God protected me. Tim had changed places with me earlier so I could be more in the shade. 

Fifth, we all enjoyed Princess Night, especially Rachel! Tonight was Disney princess night and we saw so many little girls dressed up as princesses. Rachel could sing all of the songs they played tonight. I think that was her favorite part of the game besides the food. ha-ha-ha

Sixth, we all enjoyed each other's company and the food.

Thank you God for such a fun night.

Here we are. In August we will celebrate 24 years of marriage. Who can believe that? Time has gone so fast.

 Look how cute they look. In September they will celebrate 4 years of marriage. Hard to believe.

Here's Tim with the ball he caught. He ended up giving it to me because I was sitting there. I thanked him for saving me by switching seats!

Here's a Crusher's batter. They had a great hitting streak. 

                                       

Here are our terrace seat tickets with the ball Tim caught. What a fun day at the ball park.

Chloe tried to pick the ball up with her mouth. She gave up and batted it around then let it hit the floor.

Thank you God for such a great time at the ball park, with Ben and Rachel.  I can't wait to go back to that ball park. Who knows maybe Tim and I will do a date night there.
