May 2021 Crafters of Faith Challenge
Scripture: Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. the Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Challenge: Make a card or project to show rejoicing in God. It could be your own praises for something that happened or didn't happen in your life.
This is my card for this month. I am rejoicing and praising God for several things which are represented in this card.
First-The beauty and wonderment that Springtime brings. Flowers bloom and fill the air with wonderful scents. I spend time in my screened in porch looking at my garden. It has strawberries with flowers, Lily of the Valley opening, and other flowers ready to pop open.
Second-My daughter got a temporary supervisor position which she almost didn't apply for since she hadn't been picked other times she applied.
Third-My mom recognized me when I went to visit her in the nursing home. The week before she didn't know me. It's been a long, long time since she's been allowed to have visitors with COVID-19. So I'm praising God that I can now visit, and Mom knows who I am.
