Did You Know? You Can Stamp On Ribbon?

 Friendly Seagulls At The Beach

I've been playing around with layouts, stamps and designer series papers to decide what to make for class.  I think this will be one of the cards we make for February.

I followed a video by Tammy Civello to make the card.

I designed the image panel myself.  I started with a 3" circle in basic beige cardstock. I placed a small circle on the large circle to mask for the sun. I used the cloud die cut to brush balmy blue ink on for the sky.  The birds were stamped and cut from basic beige cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.  The sun was colored with a yellow Wink of Stella brush.

The sand was made with Petal Pink Glimmer paper that was torn then cut to the size of the circle. I used pecan pie ink to stamp seashells on it so it would look like sand.

I used our new Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon and stamped Happy Birthday on it using Stazon Black Ink.

If you like what you see check out my February Class Schedule.  This is 1 of 4 cards we'll make.
