Ever Make a Kimono Card?

 Hey Everybody,

I still have lingering symptoms of my cold and lots of fatigue. I found when I researched it, that is a normal thing. Your body has been using its energy to fight the infection of the cold and now needs more rest to heal and repair. So hopefully in a few more days I'll feel more like myself.

Tim says he knows when I'm not feeling well, because I'm not in my craft room making cards. I've missed that and I'm looking forward to having the energy to use the new things from the new catalog that I ordered.

Today I have an unusual card for you. It's called a Kimono Card.

Sabrina's challenge is to make a kimono card. I've never made one before. Here is a link to the challenge.

Keywords: TLC1102
Paper: Stampin' Up-Perennial Essence designer series paper
Paper Size: A2
Accessories: SU-Calypso Coral ombre ribbon
Techniques: Kimono Card

I followed the directions on the video to make my kimono card. I stamped a sentiment inside to make this a birthday card. This was fun to make.

Check out the Video.

Here are samples Sabrina posted that she made. Here is a link to the gallery where others posted their cards.

I found myself being very picky about the designer series paper I used because both sides of it would show.
This was a fun card to make once I saw the video. It was more difficult without the video. I hope you give it a try.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
Sue
