Have You Ever Used A Napkin On A Card?

 Hey Everybody,

I can't believe how far behind I am because of this cold! Friday it will be two weeks since the sore throat began. I'm praying that it is just about out of my system. I'm tired of being tired and not able to sleep at night because of all the coughing. Sheesh.

Our challenge was to use a pretty napkin on a card. I didn't have any so I stenciled raindrops on a paper towel in three different blues. In the challenge it stated if you didn't have any pretty napkins, you could use the texture of a paper towel.

I stamped, colored and die cut the dragonflies. I added clear wink of stella to the butterflies. I stamped the sentiment and used circle punches to add it to my card. Lastly, I added purple gems to my card.

Stamps: Divinity Designs-Friend to Friend stamp/die set
Paper: white, pretty peacock
Paper Size: A2
Ink: basic black hybrid, misty moonlight, pretty peacock, night of navy
Accessories: paper towel, Frantic Stamper-raindrop stencil, Divinity Designs Friend to Friend dies, Copic Markers, clear wink of stella, purple gems, 1 3/4" and 2" circle punches
Techniques: stenciling on paper towels, coloring

Here's a card from my gallery using a real napkin. I peeled one layer of napkin off and cut image to size I wanted. Then I added the napkin to a piece of cardboard which had a sticky sheet on it. Then I added heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds. I purposely left a border to see more sparkle around the image. This was added with dimensionals.

I recycled a napkin and did a similar technique as this one.

Here are a couple of cards from the gallery where ladies used pretty napkins for their cards.

So what do you think? Do you have any colorful napkins you could use for a card? I know you have paper towels and maybe a stencil or two?
It's fun to do for sure.
Thanks for stopping by today.
See you again soon.
Blessings,
Sue
