Batik Butterflies
Here is my sample for the SCS Batik challenge today. I've tried this before and had the best luck with SU's white mulberry. I loved the look of the butterflies with flowers. I used the color coach to choose colors. Pumpking Pie, Rose, mustand and ballet blue were used. You stamp in versamark, then emboss with clear ep. Then wet the mulberry paper and use a brush sponge and Watercolor crayons put on the brush and brush the color onto the paper. I dabbed mine so the mulberry paper, which is wet, didn't rip. Then you dry the paper with your heat tool carefully. Then set your iron to medium and irong the paper between two sheets of computer paper folded until the ep is gone. If the paper sticks to the typing paper, iron it again and remove it when it is warm.
Tomorrow my sister goes in for a pet scan. May 7th she will go in for surgery on the cancer on the underside of her tongue. Please continue to pray for her.
