Signature Flower

Here is the card I made for the sketch challenge today on SCS. My signature flower is the sunflower. I love this set and haven't used it in a while. I inked the Au Chocolate paper with summer sun ink. I like the look of inking paper like this. I dabbed choc. chip ink around the outside of the white circle the flower is in. Summer sun and banana were used for the flower. Choc. chip was used for the center. I cut the white circle using the coluzzle. I checked the size of the scalloped punch first and decided which circle to cut out that the sunflower would fit onto. I crimped the green cs so it would have more texture and it would look like a flower stem.

The sunflower fits perfectly!! I just got this set and haven't used it yet, but keep seeing wonderful cards done with it. The Au Chocolate paper goes great and I love how you added color to it. I really hope that paper ends up in the new catty!

Hey Sue, I'm sooooo glad to see you have a blog...I just happened to be browsing SCS and saw your link....now, I just need a link to subscribe so that I can keep up with you! I always enjoy your creativity, so this is a great way to keep up with what the Lord is doing in your life. Give me a link, and I'll subscribe...I couldn't find one, so I may just be missing it. I love how you used the sunflower stamp with this card and the colors are a great combo for the image. TFS.
