What's Your Story?

Pull up a chair and find out why I became a demonstrator. I know in this day and age of who cares? I thought I'd tell ya why I became a demonstrator for Stampin' Up.
I had been stamping for a year or more and loved stamping and making things from the first time I worked with stamps. After about a year or so of taking classes with a demo 30 minutes away I prayed about what to do. I got the answer to become a demonstrator to support a card ministry at my church. What I sold to people would help pay for the cards and envelopes we'd use for ministering to people at my church. I started by donating a box of cards to the church to get them started. Once a month ladies met to make cards for lots of different things at the church from encouragement to shut-ins, to sympathy, baby and even cards for the pastors to use when they contacted people. I even did craft fairs to sell items I'd made for continued success of the card ministry. I know God blessed the ladies making the cards monthly as much or more than those receiving the cards. We ministered to each other as we made cards for others. Just thought you'd like a little bit of history about me and my ministry. So, what's your story? Why do you do what you do for others? Even random acts of kindness are doing for others. Can't wait to hear what you do.
