Anniversary Celebration

This is the card that I made for the color challenge on SCS today. The colors were sky, bayou and coral. I had fun playing with the new colors together. I've seen the shadow effect used with the baroque sets so I thought it would be fun to try it with the blues today. The background stamps are fine lace and paisley print. This verse was on our wedding announcements so I wanted to use it today since it is my anniversary.
We had a wonderful time tonight. We went out to eat, just the two of us. The kids are at a sleep over. We like to shop so that's what we did after eating. It made for a nice evening. My DH has to work tomorrow so we had to do something easy for a week night.
We've had times before kids were born that when we went on a get-away weekend, we would get into huge arguments. We recognized later that it was Satan trying to keep us from being the couple God wanted us to be. With us arguing, we couldn't do what God wanted us to do. Last night we began praying that we'd have a nice evening without upset. God is good, we got that nice evening.
