Today on Splitcoast they had a challenge making a paper flower. Here is my sample using the Wild Rose set. I love the little beads in the center. They are just what I needed to give this more texture yet not take away from the flower.
Tomorrow August 7th, my Hubby and I will celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. God has worked things out so both kids are at sleep-overs so we can have the evening to ourselves.
We're going to a restaurant that we went to early in our dating; Max and Erma's. I am truly looking forward to a night out with just my guy.
My 10 year old daughter had a sleep over last night and wanted to stay an additional night at the same girl's house. She will also have a sleep over tomorrow night at a different girl's house. Tonight I get a phone call from my daughter saying she wanted to come home. She missed her bed and mom and wanted to come home. So I went out to where she was and brought her home. It's sure nice to be missed. I'm not sure how much longer this will last so I'll take advantage of it now! God has truly blessed with with wonderful kids and a wonderfully, God-loving man!

That's so sweet. I thought that too when my baby (age 19) was 10. But she still misses me and calls home from college all the time. A good relationship stays good even when they hit the difficult teen years. (You just have to pray your way through it!)
Enjoy your anniversary date!
Very pretty card!
