For Today...
Dear Lord,
Dear Lord,
I bring you my shortcomings...Father you know what they are and that I struggle with so much. I just pray that you will help me to be more like what you want me to be.
I bring you my worship and praise... Father you allowed me to watch my two children get baptized Sunday and for that I am forever grateful. They are yours forever Father and there is no greater gift than to know that your children will be in Heaven for eternity with you.
I bring you my prayer... to become healthy again. I have struggled with this for what seems like a long time. I'm thankful that I got medicine and it seems to be working, but it is a slow process Father. Teach me to be patient with my health.
You spoke to me...in Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. It is so hard for me to give things all to you Lord and not take them back. Please continue to work in me that I may please you.

I have been home sick since Monday of this week, so I had some time to do challenges on SCS. The challenges kept my mind off of my sinus infection........yuck!
I'm so thankful I could get into the doctor Monday so I could get a strong antibiotic to start fighting the infection I have in my sinuses. I'm coughing less and sleeping more. Enjoy your visit today.
This is for color challenge 194 on SCS. I have been using my oval nestabilities and decided to put my kids on an ornament in the color challenge colors. I edged the ovals with stickles. Silver cord runs through the ornament. This should look pretty wherever we hang it.

This is for Color Challenge 194 using gray, rust and vanilla. I have to tell you that gray is not used much here and it is truly a challenge to do so. I used my Thomas Kinkade Cottage stamp. When I stamped I really saw the bricks and knew I had a Cuttlebug background that had similar bricks. The pieces with bricks were colored with ink to make them stand out a bit more. The image and words are mounted with dimensionals. I used my Nestabilities ovals to make the frames.

Here is one of the cards I did for today's challenges. I don't use gray much if not challenged to, so this was tough to do............However, I decided to use my Nestabilities scallop ovals and cut out lots of sizes of ovals. The church is rust stamped on vanilla then cut out with a Nestability. I ran some of the pieces through the Cuttlebug for texture. The image and words are on dimensionals. The Cuttlebug deisgns were colored with the ink pad so that the raised images would be darker.

This is for sketch challenge 204. It seemed to go together so easily. Some cards a like that;most are not! LOL I used vanilla cardstock for a base and for the image and ribbon. The holiday paper from SU is just gorgeous so I used it for the layers in this card. This was a quick, easy card to make......stamp the church cut the paper and put it together.
Thanks Rox for another great challenge.

I've been blessed to be visited by you today. May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
