It's That Time Again...

FOR TODAY November 24th...
Outside My Window...it is a dark, gray, rainy day. Rain is washing the snow away. Trees have lost their leaves and winter hangs in the air.

I am thinking...I hope I feel better soon. I haven't slept well in a few nights with all the coughing I'm doing. I hope to get an appt. with the doctor today.

I am thankful for...my Lord and Savior. I watched as my two children were baptized yesterday by our Youth Pastor. It was this mom's true joy to watch her children become new in God. I am so thankful I will spend eternity in Heaven with my children and husband.

From the kitchen...the smells of baked potatoes and meatloaf can be sensed. DH is making these since I'm sick. He was home due to no heat at his office.

I am wearing...jeans, my Fall Tigger sweatshirt, clogs, and knee socks. These are some of my most comfortable clothes.

I am creating...cards for challenges on Splitcoast Stampers. I will be finishing my Thanksgiving cards and mailing them tomorrow.

I am going...to rest, read and take it easy. I have a severed sinus infection and am on medication to take care of it. It should take a while though for the medicine to start to work.

I am reading...a book called Sunset, which is the last book in a Christian series by Karen Kingsbury.

I am hoping...that my medicine works quickly and I start to feel better soon.

I am hearing...wonderful Jazz music while I work. I also hear my kids talking, laughing and getting along for now.......miracles do happen!

Around the house...there are things that need to be organized. I am going at this little by little since I don't feel well. Please pray that I can continue with this.

One of my favorite things...is spending time with my kids.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:A doctor check up, food prep then hubby will make dinner for Thanksgiving.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...
This is a picture of my two kids who were baptized yesterday by their youth pastor. We are so excited that they declared publicly what we've known for years. It's a true blessing to watch what God does in our lives isn't it?

I realized that I never took a picture of the small tank DH made for our office. It fits perfectly on our bookcase. There are 6 small orange fish in it. There used to be 7 but one was a bully and he got put into time out in the large aquarium in the family room! LOL
That's what some people do, they take the bully out and let the other fish set up housekeeping, then reintroduce the bully. This way he is the new kid in town and has no territory or rites to anything and takes what he can get! Funny how similar fish can be to people.

Here is the ornament I made after seeing Taylor's found here. I had fun adding things to this. The pearls and beads are from the Pretties kit from Stampin' Up. The yellow star has stickles on it.
