Evening Sky

I had fun making this card today. It was for a challenge on SCS. This is my card for Ways to Use it 195 using and envelope. I made a 2-1/2 inch square envelope using my SU template. Then I stamped in black and colored my snowman in markers. I used sakura gel pen on many of the things to make them sparkle a little. The moon was made by punching out a circle and with temporary adhesive applying it to the glossy card stock. Then I used a dauber and blue inks to color in the card stock. I used bashful blue, ballet, pacific point and navy. I added the small snowflakes in pacific point from a punch.

I can't believe how quickly this year is going. It will be Christmas soon and I'm not ready. LOL I have some small things to get yet, but little by little I'm getting it done. Isn't that always the way it goes?
I am hoping to find more time to blog and get some cards done for me. The days and weeks just seem to fly by. The end of the year will be here before we know it and 2009 will be upon us. I am looking forward to two weeks of vacation from school. I can finish things for Christmas and I can do some of the challenges from SCS on a more regular basis.
Bless you for checking in with me today.
