Saturday we had DH's family over for Christmas. It was 67 degrees so we had the patio furniture out on the deck and enjoyed the day out there. How weird that is though since we're used to freezing weather and snow here in Ohio!
Yesterday I wore a Christmas sweater outside and was fine. No coat needed.
Today I got to stamp, yipee!
This is the heart I made after seeing this thread tonight. Lots of great ideas on how to make this. Check it out......http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=406348
I used Raspberry Tart paper and pink pirouette paper for the base of the card.

I also used an old set called Kindness Shared for the heart image and the roses and words inside.

This card is a triple play for this week.........HCE08, LSC200, IC160.
I waited to get this set 20% off from SU this month. It is going to be a very fun set to play with I think. :-) I stamped in pink pirouette then pomegranate for the flowers on the butterfly then amethyst for the tiny butterfly and the dotted outline.
I outlined the butterflies with my Sakura gel pen so it would sparkle a bit. I love the branch punch by Martha, so I put that in the corner with a pearl. I love the look of that pearl. Of course because of all the dots on the butterfly I added them as a frame around the butterflies.

Well we're fast approaching a new year....but first in my house we will celebrate my DD's 12th birthday on Dec 30th. Where has that time gone? Whew, it seems like only yesterday we were burping her and changing her.
Jan 3rd, DH will celebrate his birthday, then back to work and school for all on Jan 5th.
Tomorrow I will have a friend over and we'll stamp together. Can't wait to make some more cards and take on some more SCS challenges.
I've issued myself a challenge to read my Bible more, eat more healthy, and exercise more. We'll see how that goes.
May God continue to watch over and bless you each and every day. Thank you for visiting today.
