Ahhhhh....Spring time is here!

So the calendar says it's Spring! Not sure if it is where you live, but here in Ohio it isn't too bad. We've had some nice weather lately. Still cool, but no snow or low temps in sight. I love spring! Not only with the flowers and trees getting ready to show their beauty, but the birds are back singing in the trees and our resident ducks have arrived in the pool! LOL They swim on the winter cover of the pool which has water on it and quack at each other.
I have missed stamping for over a week so I got some stampin' time for myself this morning.

Here's my project for the Inspiration Challenge today. I used the pillow box die cut. I used vanilla card stock which I ran through the cuttlebug to get the embossed look. Then I put the box together and used direct to paper with pink pirouette and celery. The scalloped oval punch was used to punch out Oval All which is stamped with Fabulous Friend. I used Tea Party design paper and cut out with the wide oval punch. All was held together with pretty in pink ribbon so this can be opened easily to be enjoyed.

Here is my triple play challenge! It is for today's inspiration challenge IC172, Sketch Challenge 220 and Limited Supply Challenge 212. I stamped in black on watercolor paper the detail flower from Soft Summer. The center image is stamped first then the right and left image were stamped off once. Next I used my watercolor crayons and aqua painter to color the flowers. When dry I went back and colored the center flowers with my pretty in pink marker and went back to color the muted flowers with watercolor again. I used saffron to watercolor around the flowers. The image panel is raised on dimensionals. The eyelet border punch was used to add some softness to the base of the image. I mounted the strips on black cardstock.

Today it got up to 47 degrees and DH got to sit out on the screened in porch to have coffee after dinner. What a treat! I love sitting out there when there are no yard toys from neighbors going.
I need to get back to work and ieps. Thanks for visiting and my peace, love and joy fill your heart.
