Card Ministry Projects

We were again very busy at Card Ministry last night. We had about 11 ladies making cards. We made some elaborate cards and it took us two hours to make about 80 cards. These ladies are so good that now I have to make the cards more involved so they will be challenged.

This is one of the cards we made at Card Ministry last night. I love the two-step stamping on this. We stamped in saffron the floral background then added design paper then the image.

This is another card done for Card Ministry last night. we had fun punching out all of the 1/4" flowers from the design paper and gluing them to the branch. The background is crimped which gives a really neat texture to the stripes.

This is another card we did at Card Ministry last night. We stamped the plant in moss then punched out the flower using a 1/4" circle punch and glued them to the plant. We added ribbon and used the word window punch to add God Loves You. We used the crimper to crimp the design paper in the background. The edges were sponged with rose ink. This was a card that will go the the shut ins this month from our church.

I am liking this Branch Out set. It seems like it is so versatile. I can't wait to see what else I can do with this set.

This was a fun masculine card that we did at card ministry last night. I showed the ladies how to do the faux wood technique by dragging their stamp pad across the paper. We stamped the trees in hunter and the words on the cranberry in cranberry. The happy birthday was stamped in navy ink.

This is one of my all time favorite sets, Coast to Coast. I used this set for card ministry last night. I demonstrated the faux metal technique where you layer versamark and silver embossing powder three times and on the third time you set your stamp into the hot embossing powder. It really does look like metal!
The background is cuttlebugged and the clouds are stamped then colored with a dauber

Thanks for visiting today. I hope you are blessed by your visit.
