Dazzling Purse and a Great Staycation

This is for IC196 from a site calledMoyna Bags. I took one of the samples in the challenge to use as the inspiration for my card. I stamped in versa mark using the large flower from Kind Thoughts. Then I used white embossing powder. Next I used two-way glue and added dazzling diamonds first then the gold glitter in the center. I then took it outside and sprayed it with hairspray so the glitter wouldn't come off. Looking at it now, I might work further on it to make it a purse that will hold a gift card.......thanks for the inspiration. I will add a saying when I decide what I want this for. I had a hard time deciding where one should go since I liked the sparkle on this. Great challenge!

I have to thank God for the most wonderful weekend so far. Our two kids went to a retreat for church and will be gone until Sunday at 6. So, DH and I planned a little staycation together.
Friday evening we dropped them off and went out to eat. We relaxed a bit then went swimming when it got dark and quiet in the neighborhood. We put our back light on and the heater and had some wonderful swimming time with just the two of us. It was fun to watch steam rise from the pool.
Today we got up and went to our favorite produce/meat store run by a local family, then went to Brunswick and Medina. He dropped me off at Hollo's while he went to get rock for his aquarium a mile down the road. We then went to Hobby Lobby and had lunch.
We got home and took a nap. He made dinner, we took a walk then went swimming again.
I am so relaxed right now. It's been wonderful to be together without kids. I love my kids dearly but it's great to work on the marriage so you're not strangers when the kids get out on their own.
I thank God for the wonderful time we've had together.
Thanks for stopping by.
