Stenciling

What a fun color challenge this was today on SCS. You had to use curry, bermuda bay and mambo. I took the stencil my upline made for me using the medium window sheets and used my stipple brush to add the ink. I started with curry and used the frame with the large area for the cut out. Then I placed the lattice shape on top of the yellow shape and stippled with mambo. check out the weird color I got.......it's a bit orange. then I added the bermuda bay around the edges. I love the softness of this. The flowers are stamped with Greenhouse Garden, one of my favorite sets from Stampin' Up. I love two-step stamping sets. These were stamped on glossy cardstock and cut out.

This is the stencil my upline made for me with the lattice sizzix die. It's been fun to play with so far. I know it's marked top and it's on it's side, because I forgot to turn it when I was editing. Oh well.........

I am trying to walk more without my cane in the house. I tried doing the steps without it until I was tired tonight. I helped my upline put make 28 baby shower favors today. It took several hours but it was the best use of my time this morning. My upline is in constant pain waiting for a hearing to have surgery due to an injury at work.
I have this week left for being off from work for my hip surgery. Next week I start working afternoons. Maybe I can do one more week or two of challenges before I come back to work.
Bless you for stopping by.
