Another Beate Project

I got some time to stamp this week and made a cute treat box which Beate made a tutorial for on the SCS blog.  Check out the directions here:
Let me know what you think.  Mine has tea in it instead of candy.  Love this done with the vintage wheel in choc chip on coral cardstock. Scallop trim punch used with coral and white papers which were then layered. I used the heart punch on the pretty in pink paper and layered it on choc chip using the sizzlit heart die. I used the small heart to punch out a piece of the pretty in pink to see the brown underneath. It has choc chip ribbon and is closed by velcro.

I got home tonight, made a quick dinner, then got my two teens to church by 5:30.  One had to go to Winterjam, a cool Christian concert at a local college downtown.  Ben and I  had to stay and help the Sr. High make 1300 sub sandwiches which will be sold at church Sunday to earn money for a mission trip this summer.  It was wild and crazy but I survived it.  I got to help cut the butcher paper which was on a big roll.  The sr. high students got brooms and chairs and set the paper up so it would easily roll when we pulled it.  We cut two pieces at once(two of us cutting) and cut about 10 pieces a minute.  We had a second team doing the same thing.  In no time we were finished.  You forget how loud teenagers are when they get together with their yelling, laughing, singing, screaming etc.  Such drama too.........it was very interesting watching their behavior with each other.
Thanks for stopping by.......it's time for some sleep.  Blessings,
