Cards for Presidents

I had the hardest time making these two cards..........The challenge was to make cards that were connected to a President in some way.

This is for limited challenge where you had to make a card associated with a president. Calvin Coolidge was given two baby lion cubs. The lion cubs--by the way--were named Tax Reduction and Budget Bureau. This is way out of my comfort zone........one layer colored with markers and watercolor crayons and an aqua painter. I wanted his eyes to stand out I'm not sure I used the best color though.........I think he's cute though.

This is for the limited supply challenge and way out of my comfort zone. This is a dog stamp that was given to me. I've never stamped a dog before. It is stamped in sepia ink then layered with designer paper from new neighbor paper pack from SU. I tried making a square with my new punch.....I need practice. Let me know what you think. I didn't pick one president who had a dog because in reading about White House Pets, I found most of them had dogs.
