Textures and Lace

I got to stamp a bit tonight since today I finished a huge testing project for my students.  It is the Alternate Assessment they take instead of the state testing.  Check it out....
This is a card made for the brand new challenge called Free For All #1. We had to use a designer paper, a color we don't usually use and texture. I used the SU elegant bouquet folder and curry paper. Next I used olive behind the designer paper because I don't use it often. I don't have the corner and border punch so I used the border punch and tried to go all the way around. I liked the effect. What I don't usually do is put something off center like this. Normally I try to balance my look. ( my own challenge within a challenge :-) )

Here's my card for the lace challenge for WT259. I cut out the shimmery white paper with the SU lattice die I used the white cut outs on the corners. I then colored 4 of them and used them for leaves for my flower. The flower is the simple flower embosslits die with Hello Neighbor designer paper. This was glued to black paper with Hello Neighbor paper with a lacy border by M.S. It is mounted on olive cardstock which I don't use very much. Hope you like it.
Here's my second card for this challenge. I used textured curry cardstock, then put it through the big shot with the finial folder. I cut out my heart then added black paper behind it and cut it out using decorater scissors. The olive is a color I don't often use and I put it through the crimper 4 or 5 times each way then pressed it flat again so it would have some texture but not an accordian texture. I then used the border punch on the curry and added a strip of olive behind it. This was a good way to use up some of the scraps I had.
There's such a difference when I can stamp after work.  I love working with a variety of tools as well.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Bless You
