Stamping With A Friend

Isn't it great when you invite a stamping friend over and you actually get some cards made? LOL  I was showing my friend how to do the emboss resist technique and playing around with her new stamp set, Pendent Park.  I've never used this set so it was fun to try to make a few cards with it.

I used emboss resist on the image and used lilac ink on glossy cardstock. the image was embossed with white ep. Then it was brayered over with lilac ink. I put it on saffron cardstock then added the scallop square and the butterfly punched out and a gel pen to go around the edges.
This card was brayered first with mambo in then put through the big shot. I like the texture color adds to this. I then did emboss resist with clear ep and brayered mambo ink over it. I added a border to the image panel and added ribbon and a small flower.

This is the pictures that I used for my inspiration. I liked the layers and I also like the swirled lines. I used the crimper at an angle so it would give a texture different from a straight crimp.

This is the first time I've stamped with this stamp set. My friend came over with it and let me try a few. I stamped on white cardstock with celery ink then used bashful blue ink sponged on with a chocolate chip border. I used retired SU paper to make this with choc chip ribbon. I added thanks and punched it out with the scallop oval punch. I like the tiny pearls that were added too.

This is the second card I made using pendent park. I actually never got to use the other stamps in the set, since my friend was using them.LOL
I like how this came out. I used retired SU designer paper for the backgrounds with black paper. I added black ribbon, and eyelets on a word window punched out paper.

We've had some rain, clouds and temperatures of 80 degrees.  It was just a wonderful day to stamp, then sit out on the back screened in porch.  God is so good.
Hayfever season here too.......lots of pollen just blowing around.  My office desk and table on my screened in porch are loaded with pollen..........aaaaachooooo!
Thanks for stopping by.  May God Bless you today and always.
