Kid Cards are Done.........1st Day of Work Tomorrow.........:-(

I finally finished the 9 kids cards that I'd started three days ago.  I colored them with watercolor pencils from SU then used the aqua painter.  I wish SU would come out with watercolor pencils that match their inks.  Their pencils aren't even labeled so it's hard to used them.  This is the first time in a long time that I've used them because of that.
  These cards will be used for kids that I find in SCS's need a lift forum.  See what you think.

I also got to participate in the Queen For The Day 23 Challenge where we honored Princess Heather.  Here's the card I made for that.  Here's Heather's card that I CASED.

     I stamped the tree and baroque in versamark then embossed in gold embossing powder. I sponged garden green around both images. I added a white bow and little pearls. Congrats Heather, I had a tough time finding something to CASE, there were so many beautiful things to choose from!

I also participated in yesterdays Inspiration Challenge.  I chose this image for my inspiration.

Here's the card I made. The three little ones in tutus made me smile. I stamped the flower from Best Blossoms in daffodil, pretty in pink and pear. I used a border from Nursery Suite. I put the background through the big shot with the folder, flowers-spring. I added the butterflies from the sizzix embosslits and added pearls to each flower center. Thanks for looking today.

Today I've gone between doing schoolwork and making cards.  I want my last day of vacation to be fun in some way ya know? I know Hope, tomorrow's the day.  I also know that each day I go to work makes it a day closer to my next day off which is Labor Day and the day after that.  I'll have an extra, extra long weekend.  And guess what?  My kids will be gone for the weekend too!  Woohoo DH and I can have a date night and a date day!
