Where Did September Go?

I can't believe this is the last weekend of September.  It really felt like a fall day with cooler temperatures and leaves all over the lawns blowing around.  I actually put on jeans and a sweatchirt today!  That's how cool I felt today.
Today was a busy day taking care of mail..............you know the list of cards you need to send out for family, friends and people from SCS who could use a lift.  That's what I did today.  I also finished a good book.  Let me tell you through the Simple Woman Forum.

FOR TODAY-September 26, 2010

Outside My Window...It is dark, quiet and cool.

I am thinking...that it seems like Sarah's loaded down with so much social studies homework.

I am thankful for...God bringing me through my surgery and early recovery.  Tomorrow I get the staples out.

From the kitchen...it is quiet as all have made lunches for tomorrow and are asleep.

I am wearing...tennis shoes with elastic ties, a sweatshirt and pants.

I am creating...lots of cards to be mailed tomorrow to people who need some cheering up.

I am going...to drive somewhere tomorrow as I've just started again since my surgery.

I am just finishing reading...Sabrina by Lori Wick and The Walk by Richard Paul Evans
both are a quick read if you are not on drugs like I was. LOL

I am hoping...I progress quickly and can return to work soon.

I am hearing...the tumbling of the dryer with the last load of clothes for the weekend.

Around the house...it is quiet with the ticking of my grandfather's mantle clock in the background.

One of my favorite things...to chill out and talk to Ben and Sarah.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Get staples out Monday
work hard on pt all week so I can hopefully go back to work sooner
drive somewhere so I don't feel so house bound.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...It's one of my favorites of Tim.

Thanks for stopping by.  I am amazed at how much I can get done in a day when I put my mind to it.  No wonder my mind and body are tired!  I got a lot of walking done and cards sent to a dozen people or more.
Take care and think about all that's around you.  It was made by our Father.  Yup He's your father and my father.  He love us very much. Do you realize God Loves us more than anyone here on earth?  That's hard for me to wrap my head around, especially with a headache.  God loves you and me no matter what we've done. I'll bet you don't believe that.  I'll bet you're saying, He can't love me because of all the things in my past.  Guess what?  I had things in my past too and he forgave them all.  All I had to do was ask.  It's that easy.
No kidding!
Sleep well and dream of our Father.
Blessings,
