Today was a very busy day. Tim's recovering a little more each day. Today he hung out at home but was able to pick up Ben from church this afternoon. He was also able to pick up some chips and dip while he was out. Now that's a SURE sign he's feeling better! LOL
My wonderful friend Jane was over this afternoon and we stamped and talked and laughed. Ben made meatloaf and baked potatoes for dinner. What a great meal. It was fun having Jane here for dinner. Tim got to kid her about mice and how to handle them in or out of traps!
Here's a beautiful and encouraging song from Phil Wickham which really spoke to me today. I hope you enjoy it as well. The words follow this.
In My Love-Phil Wickham
I have looked you in the eyes
I have seen the tears you cried
I have heard you question why you are here
There is a reason, there’s a plan
There is a God Who understands
He’s got your life inside His hands
Have no fear
Cuz He says
In all your hurt and in all your pain
I’ll never leave, I won’t forsake
You’re my child and I’m your God
Come and rest in my love
I know this road is deep
And I know you’re tired and weak
But the God of perfect peace is right here
He is the shelter from the storm
He is the rock forth and secure
He is hope forever more
Have no fear
Cuz He says
In all your hurt and in all your pain
I’ll never leave, I won’t forsake
You’re my child and I’m your God
Come and rest in my love
When everything seems out of control
I’m holding on, I won’t let go
You’re my child and I’m your God
Come and rest in my love
There is hope tonight
There is everlasting life
Dry away your tears
Coz tomorrow is on the rise
Love will never fail
He will never fail
He says
In all your hurt and in all your pain
I’ll never leave, I won’t forsake
You’re my child and I’m your God
Come and rest in my love
When everything seems out of control
I’m holding on, I won’t let go
You’re my child and I’m your God
Come and rest in my love
In my love
In my love
I'm having trouble lately reading my Bible daily. I'm praying that God will help me to get back to this very soon.
Thanks Jane for a wonderful afternoon and evening. Thank you God for helping Tim to feel better. Please help Sarah feel better as her throat is not feeling well lately. Please help me with my very busy week.
Blessings and thanks for stopping by.
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.
