Do You and I Make A Difference Doing What We DO?

Do you ever wonder if you make a difference? You know what I mean when you might be tired or especially weary and you begin to hear things like 'you don't matter, 'you don't make a difference in this world.' Sometimes that's how I feel when I make all of these cards for my church with a wonderful group of ladies. You know when you spend endless hours designing cutting and putting packets of projects together and packing them up to haul them to church. Sometimes I feel that it's just inked paper. However, just when I need it most, I receive a letter from our Pastor telling me and all of the ladies who help with this ministry what a difference we DO make! I also had a widow come up to me and thank me personally for the cards she receives EACH month. Isn't God amazing? I continue to be amazed at what and how he does things. I don't know why it still amazes me, maybe because I don't expect it ya know?
Here is one of the cards that will be going postal to the widows or widowers for Easter. I don't like the sponged green around the image so on the next one it will be pink all around the daffodil.
I love the daffodil because to me it's a sign that spring is on its way.  Speaking of spring, this morning as I pulled the van out of the garage I could hear a cardinal singing his heart out.  It was so much like the spring songs I hear when the other birds come back.  It made my heart sing with joy just listening to that fellow sing.  It was once again another gift from God.  Isn't it cool when you make those connections in your life?  Such a small thing like a bird singing........not only did God make sure I heard it, but He also made it stir my heart and thank Him as well.  What an amazing way to begin a morning.
Well, I'm ready for sleep.  Ready to start the day again and go to an after school meeting.
Thank you God for keeping me safe and keeping me mindful of you.
Bless you for stopping by today.  Another blessing from today is that I got a lot of work done and have begun to go through my classroom a bit at a time in preparation of moving to an upstairs classroom for next year.
