Flowers Are Everywhere!

Can you tell I'm desperate for flowers? LOL Todays group of cards is just flowers. Check this out.
This is a very old stamp (1994 I think) that was donated to the card ministry.l I colored with markers after stamping in versamark and embossing with black ep. I cut it out as much as I could then put it on the card base. I built a fence by using the scallop border punch and adding lines and ink to make it look old and aged. I used my new butterflies cuttlebug folder. Just love that for a background.
Check out this blog for a 'how to' on making these.

I added a piece of paper in front of my tulip and used the scallop punch and drew lines to make it look like a fence.
Here is the blog I got this from.  I used the tulip border folder then added the pink in the center then the
 flower and leaves.
I cut pretty in pink paper smaller than the daffodil frame. I like the green for the words.
This is an old stamp that I found in my drawer and decided to use versa mark then black ep. I colored it with markers.
This card was quick and easy. You use the Flower Daisy #2 die and cut out flowers. Then you put a hole in them and add a brad. You also push up the flower edges to make it more 3-d. I put it inside the tulip border folder. Then I added the Mother's Day stamp
Check out this blog to see how to make these pretty roses.

After the flower was done I sponged rose red on the edges of the yellow cardstock. I put the base and the band through two different cuttlebug folders. I added Happy Mother's Day using the scallop oval punch.
This is another old stamp that was donated to me so I wanted to see what it looked like. Oh my, do I love this one! It's easy to color and not too bad to cut out. I wouldn't do that each time but I was on the phone so it worked out to cut this out. I cut bashful blue paper to fit into the tulip frame. The blue cardstock has a different folder used than the frame. I used stickles on the flower centers.
This morning I was along in the house.  Tim and the kids went to church.  I go at 6 p.m. for the contemporary service.  Anyway, I was here where it was peaceful and quiet. I was reading my Bible and talking to God.  He laid on my heart that I need to continue to encourage people. So I pulled out my notebook to see who needed encouragement.
My mother-in-law is going in for out-patient surgery to have part of her big toe removed.  It's not getting oxygyn like it should so they need to do this so it doesn't get gangrenous.  Please pray for her and the rest of the family.
My son, Ben is there for a few days to help out my mil and fil.  I pray that he does okay being there.  He loves going over there when he has vacations.
Pleae pray for my mom as well.  She is forgetting things.  I tell her I do too but she continues to talk about it when I call her.
Praise God my sister Patty who is now an RN got a job and is thrilled with her managers. Thank you God for leading her to that position.  Help her grown and bring your love and mercies to the cancer patients and families she'll be working with.  Give her whatever she needs to bring your love to these suffering families.  You can do anything.
Father please be with Ben and Sarah as they make the transition to online school as opposed to yellow school bus school.
Please be with me as I try to adjust to this as well. Be with our district as we lobby for voters to pass a levy.  If we don't in May we will go into state receivership and things will be awful.  The state will do whatever it takes to balance the budget.  Please God help us to keep our district and building strong.
Thank you that I can come to you whenever I need to to talk to you.
Love,
Me
