A Stamping We Will Go........

Today I got up to stamp with Pam.  She brings lots of cute stamps when she comes.  I love what she brought today.  I'm going to have fun coloring these in. You'll see them posted here and on SCS as I finish them.  Thanks for coming to play today Pam.  I always enjoy our time together.
Here's a card I made for the Splitcoast Stampers Monday Challenge.  You were to use a Nestabilites to cut your image out and stamp on it with a background stamp.  When you lifted your Nestabilities frame you'd see a no ink border all around your frame.  It was pretty cool.  I was trying to figure out what I'd do with my small Suzy Zoo images and found this perfect to handle them.
I had some Suzy Zoo images colored and wanted to use poppy and daffodil colors since those were used on the image. When I stamped the image on the nestabilities, I turned the stamp over and pressed on the image not the stamp to make sure the image went on the paper. Then I turned the image over and added a 4x5 piece of computer paper on top so the ink didn't get on the plate for the Cuttlebug. I put the sandwich through with the computer paper on top of the die. You can't see it very well but on the poppy flower I tried a small wheel and it worked very well also.

Behind the image is this verse.
Lord, surround this child with goodness
lead him in your light each day.
Let him walk in the path you've chosen,
guide his steps along the way...
Teach him to trust your wisdom
And obey your loving plan;
Keep him from all harm, protect him
As he grows to me a man.
That will be stamped on the inside of the card.

I am trying to read a few books over my Spring Break too.  I need to get some sleep so I can take Sarah to her OAA testing in Akron tomorrow.  That means while she's taking a test, I can shop on Rt.18! LOl
There's an Archivers and lots of other places to shop.  I will hit Hobby Lobby on the way home too.
