I came across this on the news and thought it was quite unique. I loved the idea. See what you think. What a wonderful way to bring the young and old together.
I have had some time to make some cards so I'll show you what I've been up to. This card was made for today's featured stamper. We were to feature our self and take a card from our gallery and remake it and change things about it like we would for the featured stamper of the week. Here is the original card I made.
Here's my sample of Carrie Cudney's card holder in the video found here.

I put a layer of color under and over the cut out edge. I added a bow to the box and added tape to the back of the box.
Here's my card for today's triple play.....I used 4 punches to make the chick and the basket. I stamped three words and added 6 flowers to my card as well. What a fun challenge. |
Friday we spent part of the day in Amish Country. We went to the cheese factory where we watched them make cheese then got to taste any that we wanted to. Did you know they even have peanut butter and also chocolate cheese? I didn't try them, but that sure didn't appeal to me at all.
Our next stop was Der Dutchmann for lunch.
This is one of the most authentic Amish restaurants in Walnut Creek. Yum, there's nothing bad on the menu.
Next stop was the Carlisle Gift Shop where I always look a handmade earrings.
The last place we went to was Coblentz Chocolates. Oh my what a mouth-watering selection they have.
Then it was home so kids could get the grass cut with Tim, then they still had to do homework.
I got ready for my stamping garage sale Saturday in Medina.
Thank you Father God for the wonderful weather and the fun we all had as a family. I know all too soon these times will be a thing of the past.
Thanks for visiting today.
Blessings,
