Crusher's Night-A Family Tradition

We took our annual trip to Avon, Ohio to see the Lake Erie Crushers play the Washington, Wildthings. This was a fun video I saw on the Crusher's site.

This was the first game we've seen in 4 years that didn't have thunder, lightning and rain.  There was a pleasant breeze and temps around 80 degrees.

Unfortunately for the Lake Erie Crushers, they lost 5-4.  Hey Hope, isn't Washington, PA near Pittsburgh?
Thought about you tonight, it was Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers night at the stadium.
We had lots of fun and great food.  Nothing but junk food was eaten tonight!  Hot dogs, fries, nachos, and ice cream of course.  That's what baseball games are for.
I have to tell you though it made me feel very old each time the teams came in to the dugout, they looked so YOUNG!  They were young!  Most were young enough to be my son! LOL

Today I was injured upon the job in stamping.  It's a nasty bruise.  I was using the cuttlehug plate with my new SU large delicate doilies and it was a bit tough to crank it through and WHAM, the handle flew out of my hand and whipped around and smacked my knuckle. YOWCH!  I needed a bandaid and an ice pack.
Now it's red, purple, puffy and doesn't have much range of motion without pain.

Here's the card I made for today's SCS inspiration challenge.
Here's my card and the tiny bird necklace that inspired it.

I used a brayer to get the background color then stamped in black and heat set it. I used the 2 1/2" circle punch then layered that on the large delicate doily punched out in pool party. I added choc chip paper with woodgrain embossing and wild wasabi with the lacy embossing. Pool party ribbon was used.  The color combination here is from the Stampin' Up Color Coach.  Using the Color Coach makes color selection so much easier and it makes the cards look so much better.
I hope to do some of the Splitcoaststampers Challenges this week for all of the fan club members.  They have lots of prizes to win too.

Well, it's time for sleep.
Blessing of the Day: We had great family time at the ball game.  Tim was able to fix the computer of a member of our church with nothing in return...........love that man.
Blessings,

Be careful of future stampin' accidents! One time I dropped a wood mount stamp and the corner of the block hit my foot just "right" and I got a bruise. Maybe we should wear protective clothing, LOL! Have a great day!

Ha ha ... yet another rivalry with a 'Burgh team dominating! Yeee haww!!!! hee hee Yes, Washingtin is close to Pittsburgh. The Wildthings are quite popular, tho not as popular as our beloved Steelers.
