Today was crazy

Today seemed like a crazy day. We were testing all of the kids using a reading test called Dibels. We had 4 subs in the building to teach while intervention specialists and others tested the kids. The great thing I saw even with the many changes in schedules, was that the majority of kids had increased in their performance! Woot, Woot, that's what we're here for! It is a big team effort with so many people working with so many different kids. That means that we can continue to move 98% of the kids forward and only have to remediate the other 2%. Feeling goog that I've made a difference in someone's life.

I got to make a card following today's sketch challenge. Here's my card. Isn't this snowman just adorable?
Lost another pound today making my total 17. I'm losing slower than Tim, but losing just the same. He's up to 30 lbs. gone and has gotten new pants and a belt.

I am waiting for the kids to come home from Applebees after youth group tonight. Sometimes it's so hard to stay awake ya know?

Blessing of the Day:Testing went so well and kids have learned so much over this marking period. Thanks for stopping by today. Blessings,
